A single search result record from the Europe PMC search endpoint.

Field coverage matches resultType=lite; resultType=core adds many more fields which are preserved in EuropePmcResult::extra.

Fields

id: String

Record identifier within its source database (e.g. a PMID for MED).

source: String

Source database code (MED, PMC, PPR, AGR, CBA, PAT, …).

pmid: Option<String>

PubMed ID, when the record is linked to PubMed.

pmcid: Option<String>

PubMed Central ID (e.g. PMC7894017), when full text is in PMC.

doi: Option<String>

Digital Object Identifier.

title: Option<String>

Article title.

author_string: Option<String>

Comma-separated author list, as provided by Europe PMC.

journal_title: Option<String>

Journal title.

pub_year: Option<String>

Publication year.

is_open_access: Option<String>

Open access flag ("Y" / "N").

extra: Map<String, Value>

Any additional fields not modelled above (populated for resultType=core).
